


Spring School Fees and InformationMay 2-7, 2010The Rug Hooking School Committee is pleased to announce the courses and dates for the Spring 2010 Rug School held at the Agriculture College in Truro, Nova Scotia. Ten courses are being offered plus On Your Own.
The application form is for the Spring School, May 2-7. Read the information before completing the application form and consider your alternate choices carefully. Should none of your choices be available, you will be contacted by the Registrar to see if you might consider joining a class not yet filled. ΜΜΜΜΜΜ

Fees are required in Canadian dollars. Both your deposit and post-dated cheque for the balance are submitted with your application form. The post-dated cheque is dated no later than March 15th, 2010. Please make Fees payable to: Nova Scotia Rug Hooking Spring School. Mail to the Registrar no earlier than January 4, 2010. Linda MacDonald ΜΜΜΜΜΜ Refund PolicyIf you cannot be placed in a class, your $200 will be refunded. If you withdraw before March 1, your deposit, less $75.00 will be refunded to you. For Your Information
Accommodation Residences are College Dorms with shared bathrooms and showers. While the dorm buildings are aging, they are clean. If you require a first floor room, please note this on your application.
Meals Jenkins Dining Hall serves excellent meals cafeteria style. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase at the Cox Institute where classes are held.
Commuters If you would like to join us for meals in Jenkins Hall, lunch is $7.70, dinner is $9.55 (taxes extra) payable in cash at the Dining Hall.
Shops Shops will be located in Cox Institute for your shopping convenience.
Rug Display If you would like to bring two or three hooked pieces for display at Rug School you will need to pre-register them. The Rug Registration form will be part of the acceptance package.
FUN, FUN, FUN! By popular request, we are holding a “It’s a Kitchen Party!!” on Wednesday evening. Bring your musical instruments and sign up with your Registrar by Tuesday at 6:00pm. The DJ, whose music we have enjoyed the last few years, will be returning for your back-up music if you wish to do Karaoke. For either, you may enter as a solo, pair or group: such as teachers, class, regional group, etc. Prizes and bragging rights to be won! |
